First Thrive Market Box

First Thrive Market Box

I was making my first loaf of vegan and gluten-free sourdough bread when I saw my Thrive Market box being dropped off. I’d checked the status kind of a lot (Much excitement!) and the app kept promising a Tuesday delivery. Then yesterday it said Wednesday. The weather has been kinda crappy so, whatevs. Even this morning when I submitted another order, the app said Wednesday. Anyway, I can get behind “underpromise and overdeliver”.

There was a small amount of plastic packaging, but not much! My shampoo bar was wrapped up, which was thoughtful. That pizza crust is $11 at the store here, but $6.99 on Thrive.

Here are rolled oats (the cardboard canisters in stores have a habit of being open or busted by the time I get them home from the store), organic canned pumpkin for baked oatmeal, a shampoo bar, organic tomato sauce, mustard, and vegan half and half.

That’s pizza crusts, oat bran (impossible to find here in stores), coffee, 2 packs of gluten-free spaghetti, parsley, oregano, Italian seasoning (just in time because I’m making lasagna right now), red pepper flakes, Cayenne pepper, and cloves. The sunflower butter was a free gift and the laundry tabs were a free sample.

The grand total was $63.12 for 23 items, most of which are organic. This was with free shipping and 20% off my first order. I saved $75.13 and even better was the time saved. I didn’t have to sit in traffic and I didn’t have to go to at least 2 different stores to get these items.

Like I mentioned before, I’ve already submitted another order. I like being able to add items to my box as I think of them.
