Chocolate Protein Powder Energy Balls

I don’t know about the weather where you are, but it’s hot as Hades here and I don’t feel like turning on the oven. I haven’t made these in a while, even though they are one of the simplest recipes ever. They are perfect for breakfast or a snack!

Chocolate Protein Powder Energy Balls

These are no-bake, gluten-free, and vegan energy balls

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup almond meal
  • 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder I used Trader Joe’s Hemp protein powder
  • 1/2 cup nut butter almond, peanut, or sunflower butter
  • 1/2 cup plant milk
  • 3 tbsp vegan chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • Measure all ingredients except chocolate chips into a medium mixing bowl. I measure the dry ingredients first so I only have to use one measuring cup.
  • Stir until combined.
  • Then add chocolate chips (optional) and mix those in.
  • Use a cookie scoop or spoon to make balls.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

This recipe makes approximately 12 small balls or 8 larger balls. You do you.
